Get to know me

My interest in photography began in childhood and has remained a constant throughout my life. Over the years, I have owned and worked with many cameras—from film cameras and DSLRs to today’s full-frame mirrorless systems and premium lenses. While the technology has evolved, what continues to inspire me is the opportunity to capture genuine moments, meaningful connections and the atmosphere that makes every occasion unique.

Photography became a more serious pursuit through my children’s school activities, where I volunteered extensively in photography and videography. Photographing performances, marching bands, school events and the people behind them taught me how to anticipate important moments and capture them naturally as they unfold.

I have lived in North Carolina for more than ten years and enjoy photographing people in real environments rather than staged studio settings. Whether documenting a celebration, performance, portrait or professional event, my goal is to create authentic, carefully composed images that preserve both the moment and the feeling behind it.

Beyond photography and videography, my interests include travel and science—two passions that continue to shape my curiosity, attention to detail and appreciation for the world around me.
